I don't know about you, but all I seem to be wearing these days is either loungewear or sports wear. I can't remember the last time I went out in a pair of jeans and shoes. Right now my wardrobe consists of lounge and sports wear from trainers, leggings, joggers, sweatshirts, hoodies and tanks.
I even went as far as investing in a few new (sporty) pieces, as I didn't know how long the lockdown would last and this would be my new wardrobe. I wanted to feel good about what I am wearing...(plus all my old workout wear was feeling a little tired and outdated). Just because I am in lockdown, it doesn't mean I have to throw all my fashion sense out of the window.
So here are a few of my top picks for affordable workout wear. I have also stuck in a few "treat yourself pieces" just to keep things interesting
I personally like both Nike and Adidas for good quality affordability and I feel that the sizes fit me perfectly, the materials used are durable, breathable and are super comfy. A lot of the designs are minimalistic so lots of choice for someone like me. I also prefer darker colours and as you can tell ..I love the colour black.
Right now - I'm loving these lace sweatshirts by Adidas, they're super comfy and have a touch of femininity to them. Team up with a pair of plain black leggings and enjoy your daily jog in style.
Team up any jumper, sweatshirt or tank with a plain (ish) pair of leggings. These leggings / Tights go with absolutely everything
And lets not forget the on trend cropped leggings
Hoodies are a great cover up for when the weather cools down a bit or you've opted for an evening run
